DAT160 tape backup media

DAT media 4mm data cartridges, DDS1 (60M), DDS2 (90m), DDS3 (120m), DDS4 (125m), DDS5 (170m) and DDS72 (170m). All you need to know is the length of tape you require. Capacities from 1.3 to 72Gb (compressed). Most drives can read backwardly but check if they can write backwardly. Do regular restores to check everything is working and DO NOT FORGET to clean the heads regularly.

DAT data cartridges / tapes are the preferred means of regular reliable backup. They are reliable and the drives / tapes are cost effective for frequent backup when compared with Travan.
